About Orfeia |

Founded by internationally renowned director Tatiana Sarbinska, Orfeia is dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional women's music from Eastern Europe. Much of Orfeia's repertoire draws on the rich musical traditions of Bulgaria. We also sing the music of Russia, Georgia and surrounding regions. Based in Maryland and with performers from throughout the Washington, DC, area, Orfeia is honored to have made our October 2007 debut on tour in Bulgaria.
